it seems that many people are a bit perplexed with REM and Ari's relationship...so here is the deal^^ (bit complicated but try to keep up)

REM is the main character of my story...he is what i would describe as a wondering bum
he has been alive for many many years and is still waiting for the chance to fulfill a long awaiting promise that he just has to keep.

Ari is like the co star even though i draw her ALOT MORE
anyways...Ari was a imprisoned and abused girl when one day she decides to run away form her uncle and the oppressive mansion...then after alot of crazy things...Ari tries to kill her self by jumping of a bridge

well REM saw this and didn't really try to save her but more like tell her that when he was about her age he had already tried multiple times trying to kill himself...but never worked(for some strange reason)
and that suicide isn't the answer, your just making it easy on the assholes that fucked up your life...and its time to repay the favor (REM's words not mine)

so Ari begs REM to train her so she will never be pushed around ever again...

and thats where their relationship starts...

Ari had already a funny feeling when she first saw him but now she has no idea what it means..does he love him like a brother, a mentor, a father, or something else...she is a bit confused

REM is a another story...he has already been in love before and he payed a huge and damaging price...its alot more complicated and i really don't feel like telling it all but lets just say that he was about be be a normal man with a famaly and son.

REM isn't looking for any kind of Romance, which destroys any chance of REM ever returning his feeling towards Ari even if she does grow up to be super hot

WOW!!! i was amazed at how well my last drawing did...i mean i never thought it would ever get to the front page...and then i get to thinking...sometimes when i really put some effort into my art it never gets that many faves but the last one i did with older Ari i swear i just halfed assed it and it got to the front page...i seriously don't get itT_T

which is sort of why I'm not expecting to get that many faves for this one even though i actually made effort into making this one as pro as i could...aw well...i guess i will never figure it out
